Born in 1952, married, father of three children. Graduated and took his doctor's degree at the Budapest Technical University, which was also his first employer. 1991-1993: assistant under-secretary of Ministry of Industry and Trade, then deputy undersecretary responsible for Hungary's industry and crisis management. 1993-1997: deputy CEO, then CEO of the State Property Agency (ÁPV Rt). 1998-2002: RWE Energie AG's head of department, then Director of ÉMÁSZ Rt and RWE Hungary. 2002 - January 2005: CEO of the Paks NPP, then from January 2005 CEO of the NPP's parent company MVM Zrt. In August 2008 he has become CEO of BKV Zrt. From his several other assignments, his membership in the OTP Bank's board of directors is prominent. He is also active in trade organizations: he is the vice-president of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and the leader of a number of scientific societies. Mechanical engineer; holds PhD degree in technical sciences. Graduated from the Budapest Technical University in 1968. From 1968 worked for the University's Machinery elements Department. 1988: associate professor 1993-1996: deputy undersecretary for Industry Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, then 1996-1999: deputy state secretary for Industry and Energy. As undersecretary, he played an important role in the ministry's legislative activity as a result of which in summer 1998 the Public Limited Company for Radioactive Waste Public Limited Company for Radioactive Waste Management (RHK Kht) was officially established as a state organization in charge of all radioactive waste that is generated, stored and disposed of in Hungary. 1999: GANZ Machine Engineering Holding Rt's deputy CEO for Strategies. 1 March 2003: The General Director of the Hungarian atomic energy authority appointed him Managing Director of RHK Kht (currently RHK Kft).
Doctor of Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Director-General of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Regional Research Centre, Lecturer for Department of Economy at University of Pécs. His field of research is regional transformation in Europe. He wrote and edited 20 books and published 200 proceedings. He is Chairman of Hungarian Regional Scientific Society and was awarded the Széchenyi prize. Publications: Writer and editor of 26 books, 20 independent publications, 200 scientific proceedings, 30 published translations, 85 foreign publications.
Graduated from the Pécs University's Faculties of Sciences and Economics. 1998: studied the relationship of area development and tourism as PhD scholarship holder; had several publications in this topic. 1999: founds an own consultant company, which operated in the fields of tourism, regional and community development, and marketing. 2004: responsible for the professional tendering of a region's community development project and of the funds from the European Union, as the Managing Director of Southern Transdanubia's Regional Development Agency. From 2008: strategic consultant in his own consulting company. He is quality assurance representative and also has ERFA application expert qualification.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs in 1975, and made a degree in Europe Studies in 2002. He started career as a university lecturer, then worked in public administration for more than ten years before becoming state secretary (1986-1990). In the nineties he became Bábolna Rt's deputy CEO and worked as the Pécs-based Europe House's Director at the millennium. 2003: Director of Paks NPP's general staff. Member of Paks NPP's board of directors. As chief counsellor of MVM Zrt, he was responsible for the Group's human resources and communications activity from 2006. Since January 2009, he has been leading the Paks NPP's general staff board in addition to the Human Resources Directorate.
Graduated in 1991 from the Budapest Technical University's Mechanical engineering department as engineer-mathematician. In 1996 he obtained postgraduate Economist qualification at the Budapest University of Economics. His career started at the Budapest Technical University in 1991 before he worked in the Ministry of Industry and Trade. From 1993 to 1999 he worked in the State Privatization Agency (ÁPV) in different positions (managing director, deputy acting director, director). From 1999-2001 he was advisor to OTP Bank Rt's executive chairman and from 2001 he was head of department of OTP Bank Rt's network directorate. From 17 June 2002 he headed ÁPV ZRt chairman's office, then led the Executive Office. Since 1 January 2008 he has been heading the National Asset Management Council's Secretariat and is also the Secretary of the Council.
